Solar Energy & National Solar Corridor

A transparent account of a solar-development concept, its engineering needs and partnership opportunities.

Development concept

  • Potential solar module supply, industrial R&D or assembly partnerships evaluated against cost, quality and national standards.
  • Conceptual siting along eligible highways and railway corridors, subject to all required owner rights and engineering clearances.
  • Station-level solar hubs where space, grid interface, protection, safety and operations justify a separate site.
  • A high-level 8,000 MW AC grid export ambition, subject to substantial feasibility and possible revision.
  • The current Corridor scheme is conceived without BESS, with direct grid export, central supervision and smart metering.

Studies before a bankable commitment

  • Rights-of-way, highway sight-lines, median clearance, railway operating rules and structural safety.
  • Geotechnical, wind, shading, maintenance, flood, drainage and theft/vandalism assessments.
  • Utility/grid interconnection and stability studies; potential use of 230/400 kV infrastructure only where feasible.
  • Environmental and social screening, approvals, grid code and procurement compliance.
  • Verified production estimates, loss factors, grid curtailment, EPC pricing, O&M and sustainable financing.

What we ask from technical partners

  • Proof of manufacturer's identity, certification, test reports, product warranty and bankability.
  • Country-specific module/inverter/structure compliance, including Bangladesh and other proposal countries.
  • Practical supply, logistics, installation, QA/QC, remote monitoring and training proposal.
  • Project references independently attributable to the submitting legal entity.
  • Non-binding technical documentation before any purchase, supply or financing discussion.

Important: No claim is made that the 8 GW programme is approved, built, financed or connected to the national grid. Corridors and tariffs require formal evaluation.
